Individual Therapy

Your space. Your time. Your healing.

Individual therapy offers a dedicated time each week to focus entirely on yourself—your thoughts, emotions, challenges, and growth. Sometimes called "psychotherapy," this one-on-one work with a licensed therapist helps reduce internal conflict, ease emotional suffering, and support meaningful behavioral change.

🧠 What to Expect:

  • Sessions typically begin weekly, lasting 45 to 60 minutes, based on your level of need.

  • As progress is made, sessions may shift to biweekly or monthly before concluding.

  • We use a flexible mix of brief interventions and depth-oriented approaches, including:

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

    • Trauma-Informed Therapy

    • Psychodynamic/Insight-Oriented Work

    • Coping Skills Development

    • Mindfulness & Self-Awareness Practices

Together, we set clear goals—whether it’s changing negative thought patterns, overcoming fears, or building healthier habits. Therapy is always personalized, grounded in empathy, and guided by your pace and readiness for change.

Psychological Immigration Evaluations

Whether you’re an individual seeking services or an immigration attorney in need of a psychological evaluation for a client, our practice is here to support you through the USCIS immigration process with compassion, professionalism, and timeliness.

We understand that sharing personal, often painful experiences can be distressing. Our trained clinicians provide thorough, trauma-informed evaluations that prioritize emotional well-being while delivering clear, comprehensive reports.

💼 Types of Immigration Evaluations Offered:

  • Asylum: For individuals fleeing persecution, abuse, or torture.

  • U-Visa: For survivors of serious crimes experiencing emotional or psychological impact.

  • T-Visa: For victims of human trafficking seeking legal relief.

  • VAWA: For those affected by intimate partner violence or domestic abuse.

  • Extreme Hardship / Cancellation of Removal: Evaluates the emotional and psychological effects of potential family separation due to deportation.

📌 *Note: While outcomes cannot be guaranteed, individuals who submit a psychological evaluation are nearly twice as likely to receive immigration relief.*

Pre-Surgical Bariatric Psychological Evaluations

Preparing for bariatric surgery involves more than physical readiness—it requires emotional and psychological preparation. I provide comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify any emotional or behavioral factors that may affect your success before and after surgery.

The evaluation includes two 50-minute sessions. In the first, we gather your background information. You will complete questionnaires before the second session, where we review your answers and discuss any concerns. A written report will be provided within 10–14 days after the second session.
